Imbued with stern leadership
well-regarded by his constituents
in stewardship he excels
Making him a leader beyond compare.

Dedication, transparency and even honesty
By these virtues imminent in his being
Brought him to a pedestal of
Exemplary leader beyond description.

In day's work, he did his tasks
to extra-ordinaire, for others
to emulate and follow
As a worker worthy of his job's pay.

He has time for everything:
attending meetings, conferences and you name it
But he never, never neglecting his family.
- A family man beyond reproach.

So to speak, he's a leader par excellence
But he's no perfect nor invincible.
God controls his fate -
Thus, he's taken back to His Maker's world.

This man is Jesse Robredo -
A man of character,
A man of integrity,
And a man beyond compare.

  25. The late Jesse Robredo was one of the most celebrated and awarded local politicians of his time, aside from being a well-loved mayor of Naga.

I also find Him a simple man who never saw himself as someone special or above the rest due to his status. He led because he wanted to serve. I’ve never been a fan of Politics, but I did admire Jesse Robredo for being a remarkable politician.
