Stupor of Thoughts
by Gil CamporazoPrayer, the simplest means
Petitioning the Lord
What we lack
And waiting for the answer.
What we got
Unsettled feeling
Confusion
Stupor of Thoughts
God answers not
You, faithless
Your prayer to naught
Nothing else.
Typhoon's Wrath
by Gil CamporazoNobody spared
Raging typhoon unleashes
Its wrath extremely
To areas along its way.
Unfortunate
Unprepared people lives lost
Properties, crops too
What government can help through?
The Rain
by Gil CamporazoTaking an afternoon walk
A friend called me for a talk.
A happy, jolly man I see
Shaking hand underneath a tree.
Disturbed by rain clouds coming
We stopped and said nothing
In a hurry we gone nowhere
Our hair, our body get wet all over.
