The River, The Gathering, Home Gardening

The River of Jamindang

by Gil Camporazo

The rain cannot be stopped
When the typhoon kept unwrapped
Its strong wind nothing untrapped
Along the way nobody's mapped.

Overflowing water of the river
Coming from the rain all over
Jamingdang's river dare not to cross-over
Or else you'll be sorry forever.

The teachers feeling forlorn
With a handful students' sojourn
Due to treacherous river tends upturn
Causing them not to school in return.

They've no more choice
But to pray and meditate in poise
For the Lord giving them to rejoice
Of the answer they may get in a small, still voice.

The Gathering

by Gil Camporazo

Smiling people afar off
Standing at the Church's entrance
In their Sunday's best dress and attire
To welcome one and all.

Hymn sang in a solemn mood
By choir best trained in group singing
Set the reverent atmosphere
Of the conference, out of town.

Members inspired by messages
From anointed Church leaders
Strengthening everyone's faith
Of God's unfeigned love.

The Sunday gathering of saints
Ended up in high spirituality.
The congregation heading home
With great satisfaction.

Home Gardening

by Gil Camporazo

Home gardening
Is desired to be done
By parents and community
Good nutrition's surely well-done.

July is a month
Observed for nutrition
Providing vitamin-rich foods
For every school implementation.

Squash, papaya
Other veggies for kids
Cooked in half and ready to serve
For malnourished children's needs
