The Dusk, The Sunset, Afternoon Delight

The Dusk

by Gil Camporazo

Time is up.
The work is done.
For the day is satisfied
No, not one is denied.

The sky is dusky.
The laborers are in a hurry
To go home with their family
In Angelus together to pray.

The Sunset

by Gil Camporazo

Looking at the sunset
My heart throbs longing for the past
What methinks is a mindset
Of yesteryears with friends that last

But they're gone
Some were nowhere to find
So what should be done?
They're sweet memories in sunset behind.

Afternoon Delight

by Gil Camporazo

Coffee time
No, thank you.
Siesta time
Yes, I will.

Taking a nap
Much better, why not?
Anyone needs it
That's afternoon delight.
