On Nativity, Family, Light of the World

Nativity

by Gil Camporazo

A baby was born in a stable
Wrapped in a swaddling clothes
Visited by the shepherds
And revered by 3 Kings
This poor, humble infant
Bringing peace, goodwill to men
Becomes King of Kings.

Family

by Gil Camporazo

From whence you come?
Are you Asian? European? Or whatever?
It matters not neither
The family is unique as we can say
The father, the mother, the children
Loving each other unperturbed
Together they live; they love; they pray.

Light The World

by Gil Camporazo

Our Heavenly Father
Loves His children,
Sends His Son
For peace,
Goodwill towards men.
His humble birth
The Light of the world.

Christmas Is Forever

Christmas Is Forever

by Gil Camporazo

December
The last of the 12 months to remember
Kids, adults, all ages longing
For its coming sure and never-ending.

Why such a feeling?
January, February go on thrilling
Thus March, April, May get together
For June, July till November

That's true
For 'dashing through the snow'
Jingle bells are ringing
Carolers are singing.

Jesus is born
In Bethlehem City not forlorn
In swaddling clothes he wear
Glad tidings everyone to hear.

Shepherds saw
Three wise men followed through
'Peace on earth, good will to men
The world chorused "amen"

Black or white
Green and yellow plight
Christmas in their heart
So fully, so humbly never part.
